Pet transport from Morocco to Belgium
Take your dog or cat to Belgium from Morocco: titration test, ONSSA health certificate, IATA crate and direct flight to Brussels or Charleroi.
Part of Pet transport from Morocco to Europe
Belgium follows EU pet-entry rules. Direct flights from Casablanca, Tangier, Nador or Marrakech to Brussels (BRU) and Charleroi (CRL) keep the journey short, but the 3-month wait after the titration test cannot be skipped.
What you need
- ISO 11784/11785 microchip, implanted before vaccination
- Valid rabies vaccination (animal ≥ 12 weeks old)
- Rabies antibody titration test ≥ 0.5 IU/ml at an EU-approved laboratory
- 3-month waiting period after a successful blood draw
- EU health certificate signed by an official ONSSA veterinarian (max. 10 days before arrival)

Frequently asked questions
How do I bring a cat from Morocco to Belgium?
Same steps as for the rest of the EU: microchip, vaccine, titration, 3-month wait and ONSSA health certificate. Some airlines accept cats in the cabin; otherwise they fly in the hold or as cargo.
Why is a titration test needed from Morocco?
Morocco is a "non-listed" third country for rabies in the EU. The titration test proves the vaccine works; the blood draw must happen at least 30 days after vaccination, then you wait 3 months before entry.
Can my pet travel without me?
Yes. If you do not travel within 5 days of your pet, the move becomes "commercial": a TRACES certificate and cargo shipping are required. We handle these formalities and the hand-over on arrival.
