France applies EU rules: from Morocco, a rabies titration test and a 3-month wait are mandatory. Paris (CDG/ORY), Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nantes and Lille have direct flights from Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Agadir or Tangier. Note: importing category 1 dogs (attack-type dogs not registered with the LOF) into France is prohibited, and any dog coming from a third country must have at least one adult tooth.

Frequently asked questions

How do I bring a dog from Morocco to France?

Microchip, rabies vaccine, titration test at least 30 days after the vaccine, a 3-month wait, then an EU health certificate endorsed by ONSSA within 10 days of departure. We coordinate every step and the flight.

Why is a titration test needed from Morocco?

Morocco is a "non-listed" third country for rabies in the EU. The titration test proves the vaccine works; the blood draw must happen at least 30 days after vaccination, then you wait 3 months before entry.

Can my pet travel without me?

Yes. If you do not travel within 5 days of your pet, the move becomes "commercial": a TRACES certificate and cargo shipping are required. We handle these formalities and the hand-over on arrival.

Can I take a category 1 dog to France?

No. Importing category 1 dogs (attack-type dogs not registered with the LOF) is prohibited. Category 2 dogs (Staffordshire, American Staffordshire, Tosa, Rottweiler) are only allowed if registered with the LOF, with obligations (ownership permit, muzzle).
